Temporary zero VAT rate on electricity

The measure

The temporary zero VAT rate for domestic electricity, which was to end on 31 March 2027, will be extended until 30 June 2027.  

Who will be affected?

Consumers of domestic electricity.  

When will the measure come into effect?

The extension is to apply from 1 April to 30 June 2027.
